SMILE Therapy For Kids Vaughan staff holiday party 2026
I’m incredibly grateful for this staff who bring such a powerful mix of fun, hard work, and passion to everything they do. Their positive energy makes even the busiest days enjoyable, and their dedication ensures that every challenge is met with creativity and heart. It’s a privilege to work alongside people who care deeply about their work and each other, and who make our team not just productive, but truly inspiring. This teamwork is something that affects each child that we see. Their genuine enthusiasm and commitment are immediately felt by the children—who sense their care, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile. Their passion helps create an environment where kids feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Because of their dedication, they build strong, trusting relationships that support each child’s growth and confidence, inspiring them to explore, try new things, and believe in their own potential. Let us know if we can help your family.

Did you know “Tummy Time” should start on day 1! However that doesn’t mean just putting your child down flat on their tummy! Here are some unique ideas to use to incorporate tummy time into your daily routine. Practice tummy time after every diaper change for about 5 minutes or more. In this way it will just be a norm for your baby and they will tolerate it well. No tears, no fuss just part of everyday routine. If you are struggling with tummy time let us know and we can help.

⭐️Baby container Syndrome ⭐️
A baby container is anything we use to put our baby inside to keep our baby safe.

When a baby spends too much time inside a container (car seats, swings, exersaucers, bouncers, Bumbo Chairs, Jolly Jumpers) then this could have an impact on their development. Movement and sensory experience is important for the brain circuits dedicated to motor control to develop.

This is why allowing the baby to be free and
doing as much too tummy time as possible is important. Limit the use of these containers for the time needed to drive or to prepare your meal.

Let us know if we can help your family.

Why is crawling such an important milestone? If your baby is not crawling on hands and knees (4 point crawl) by 9 months of age, please contact us. Development of strong muscles is one of the benefits of crawling.
Correct crawling helps us develop correct and symmetrical alignment and good posture for life. Crawling
offers
the baby
the
opportunity to develop
spatial
concepts. This will provide the child with a physical understanding and orientation of the physical world around them - their relationship with and position within it. Spatial skills are important for problem solving, motor planning, and other cognitive skills. Let us know if we can help your family.
