Due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Ontario, Rael's Ride has been cancelled for 2020 and will be held next year on June 27th 2021. Stay tuned for virtual events we will be offering in lieu of the ride!

Join us on June 28 for the third annual Rael's Ride!!
To date, we have raised over $75,000 to date for brain cancer research at Sunnybrook. Help us move closer to finding a cure, and better treatments for glioblastoma patients!

Your ticket includes a fully insured and escorted ride, rest stops, a kosher BBQ lunch and a Slient Auction. No minimum fundraising required!

Choice of:
- Moderately challenging 25km route,
- a more challenging hilly 60km route, or
- our popular beginner's 10km route which is a great way for novice (or nervous) cyclists to get a taste of road riding with all the support they need.

Rael's Ride donations have helped Sunnybrook get the MR-Linac up and running. The MR-Linac allows doctors to apply the right dose of radiation to each part of a brain tumour, and see the treatment’s real-time results. Patients can immediately learn if their treatment is working, and doctors can respond to changes right away.

This is a GAME CHANGER for patients with glioblastoma, and your continued support has never been more important. This year’s Rael’s Ride will support the crucial next step: the first clinical trial using the MR-Linac to treat patients with GBM brain cancer. It will also fund genomic sequencing of glioblastoma tumors to tailor individualized treatment options.

The faster we can move to clinical trials, the faster the MR-Linac machine can be approved for wide use. This will help thousands of brain cancer patients and patients with other types of cancer as well. You can check out our interview with Rael's doctor, Dr. Sahgal, to learn more about how Rael impacted him and his research direction.

Finding a cure for brain cancer has been an uphill battle, but Rael never gave up, and neither will we.
