We would like to thank the Prairie College service students for their generosity and kindness this past school year. Each week they would help around our lodge, outdoor gardening, snow removal, painting, decorating for holidays, washing walls, cleaning tea cups, and of course visiting with our residents. Thank you for your service this year!

Our activities department skillfully designs daily programs that cater to the physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of residents. Happy St. PATRICKS Day! Today we enjoyed an Irish inspired lunch of Irish Beef Stew and green desserts! Later we indulged in an Irish Happy Hour with shamrock, shakes, Irish Coffee and Irish Brain Teasers! A lovely day!

Laughter is the best medicine! Today in our Active Minds group we spent time laughing.....being silly, telling jokes and sharing funny stories! This is just a glimpse of our weekly sessions we do here at the lodge to encourage healthy aging and positive mental health! And it's super fun!!

Love was in the air today! We celebrated Valentines Day a bit early this week with a delicious lunch meal of " Marry Me Chicken", salad bar, Garlic "loveknots" and chocolate covered Strawberries. We had a very fun day full of creative art and coloring! Thank you to the Prairie Christian Academy Grade 1 class for coming and making lovely valentines art and cards with our seniors! Secondly, we had a great active minds session this morning learning about the importance of art and creativity as we age! Our splatter art will be on display in our auditorium!
