Staff Spotlight:

It was a pleasure to take time to celebrate the outstanding staff at Chateau. Residents and staff attended a Staff Appreciation Party last evening, featuring bee-themed decor, games, and treats. We recognized Norah for 15 years of service and Lil for 5 years of dedication to Chateau, and several residents expressed their gratitude to our staff with kind words.

We are grateful for this exceptional team that makes Chateau an excellent place to work and live.

As our residents explored and learned about Egyptian culture, they savored a traditional Mediterranean cake and hibiscus tea from Egypt.

Wow! How amazing are these college students from Prairie College! They all come once a week and volunteer their time to help with whatever we may throw at them. From visiting with our residents at community coffee time to helping move big heavy furniture around. Thank you all so much for your hard work!!

Tomorrow is looking to be a beautiful day!

We hope you will bring your families out for a fantastic time of outdoor games, a bake sale, ice cream, pulled pork or chicken on a bun and, live music at Chateau.

There has been so much excitement here at Chateau this week!

Wednesday we had Prairie College students return to volunteer again this year.
Thursday was a whirlwind of fun as Head Office came for the day. They took a tour of our amazing building, and then joined us for the creation of this years gratitude tree, each of them adding their gratitude leaves onto the tree with our residents. At noon they assisted our staff serving our residents lunch, and after there was a friendly cake decorating competition, followed by our Vantage President calling BINGO!
To finish off our week, Friday we took a virtual trip to Israel and enjoyed some delicious Israeli Tahini cookies.

Thank you to all of our head office team that came to spend the day with us Thursday! It was a fantastic day.

What a great week. It was great having Lambert for campfire sing along again. We made beautiful birthday cards, and enjoyed a delicious waffle buffet. The weather was perfect for our weekly wiener roast, and we had a special guest come and read to us while we sipped hot coco!
