Armchair travel is a highlight each month as we explore places around the world from the comfort of our chairs.
This month we took a trip to Australia! Our own resident Bob shared about his homeland. We all had a good laugh when he sang us a few songs and shared a poem about a boomerang.
And then we enjoyed delicious australian damper bread and pavlova to top it all off. All around a fantastic afternoon once again.

What a privilege to be able to partner with Samaritan’s Purse again this year!

Our residents and staff have once again gone above and beyond to make these boxes special for each child that will receive one. With homemade hats and socks, money and lots of items donated we were able to fill 57 boxes today!

We are so grateful for the opportunities to give to those less fortunate than us.

Staff Spotlight:

It was a pleasure to take time to celebrate the outstanding staff at Chateau. Residents and staff attended a Staff Appreciation Party last evening, featuring bee-themed decor, games, and treats. We recognized Norah for 15 years of service and Lil for 5 years of dedication to Chateau, and several residents expressed their gratitude to our staff with kind words.

We are grateful for this exceptional team that makes Chateau an excellent place to work and live.

We embarked on a virtual journey through Egypt today.
As our residents explored and learned about Egyptian culture, they savored a traditional Mediterranean cake and hibiscus tea from Egypt.
It was a delightful afternoon here at Chateau.
