Your brain is wired to take shortcuts—sometimes at the cost of truth.
These shortcuts, called brain biases, are mental habits that help us make quick decisions without using up too much energy. They’re useful in a fast-paced world—but they can also cloud our judgment, reinforce assumptions, and limit how we grow, think, and relate to others.
We all have them. Whether it’s jumping to conclusions, favoring information that supports what we already believe, or assuming we know what someone else is thinking—these patterns can shape how we see the world without us even realizing it.
The first step to meaningful change is awareness.
When we slow down and reflect, we create space for clearer thinking, deeper empathy, and better decisions. It’s part of the inner work of becoming wiser and more grounded people.
