LUCLS will be at Roots Community Food Centre Thursday February 12th to assist individuals with Birth Certificate applications. There will also be representatives from Ontario Native Women's Association (ONWA) assisting with Status Card applications. See below for more information.

ONWA is hosting an Indigenous Status Card Clinic in Ottawa to support community members with Status card applications, renewals, and replacements.

⏰ Time: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Last intake at 2:00 PM)

What to Bring:
Birth Certificate Support:
• Date & place of birth
• Legal name at birth & any name changes
• Birth parent information
Status Applications:
• New registrations: Long-form birth certificate + government ID
• Renewals / lost or stolen cards: Government-issued photo ID

Support will be available on-site to help guide you through the process.
