Thank you so much to all who stopped by this past week with donations. We are so thankful for the ongoing support from our community to be able to serve a good meal daily. This week for our wish list we are protein focused. We are asking for ground beef/pork, pork chops, sausages, chicken or turkey. We find these proteins to be very versatile and our creative culinary team can prepare these items in a variety of different ways. Proteins are always the most costly aspect of our compassion kitchen and are very grateful for donations of these items. This may be our wish list but any and all donations are accepted with a smile. Donations can be dropped off daily between 9am-330pm. Thank you to our community for the role you play in our compassion kitchen. We simply could not do what we do without the support.

A simple box of pasta and a jar of sauce might not seem like much—but for many families, it means a warm, comforting meal after a long day. It’s quick, filling, and something everyone can gather around and enjoy.

Right now, we’re running low on these everyday essentials. For this Wednesday Wishlist, we’re asking for your support: pasta, pasta sauce, and garbage bags of all sizes. Because sometimes, the simplest items can make the biggest impact.

Thank you to all who stopped by this past week with donations, we simply can never thank you all enough for the role you play in our compassion kitchen. This week for our wish list we are sandwich station focused. For our wish list we are requesting: margarine, mayonnaise, cheese slices and cold cuts. Preparing on average over 200 sandwiches daily it is say to say we use a plentiful amount of these four items in order to keep up with the demand. This may be our wish list but any and all donations are highly encouraged and accepted with a smile. Donations can be dropped off daily between 9am-330pm. On behalf of all of us at the Dew Drop Inn, thank you all for your continued support and for assisting us to serve a good meal daily. We could not do what we do with you.

Stand United with us March 28th!
More and more people in Thunder Bay are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness.
The last weekend in March, volunteers from our staff will be spending the night in their cars as part of ’s Sleepless in Thunder Bay to raise awareness about the growing homelessness crisis in our city — and to support programs
that help people find stability, shelter, and a pathway to home.

Shelter creates stability. Stability creates change.
Stand with us by pledging your support here:
