We are currently seeking a Full-Time Appointment Secretary to support physicians, staff, and patients through efficient scheduling, front-desk coordination, and administrative support. Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources & Operations, this position plays a key role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and positive patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments in accordance with physician availability
• Book appointments based on referrals from clinics, hospitals, and external physicians
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate appointment information within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Confirm, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments as required
• Receive, document, and relay telephone and electronic messages for physicians in a timely manner
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from physicians, patients, staff, and the public
• Screen and appropriately direct physician calls
• Explain physician instructions to patients, including pre-operative care, diagnostic testing, and procedures
• Prepare, compile, and transmit patient records and documentation as required
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with privacy legislation and organizational policies
• Provide general administrative and clerical support to physicians and clinic staff
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

•Experience working as a medical receptionist or secretary
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and ability to interact respectfully with patients and staff
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy requirements
• Knowledge of medical office administration and record-keeping practices
• Proficient computer skills, including experience entering patient data into electronic systems (e.g. EMR platforms)

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and sound judgment
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Reliable attendance and accountability, recognizing that scheduling accuracy directly impacts physician workflow

Health & Safety:

This position requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer terminal. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining their occupational health and safety, including taking regular breaks to stand, stretch, and exercise wrists to reduce the risk of strain or injury.

We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to support patient care delivery and the implementation of programs that will optimize the health of our patients.

Reporting to the Human Resources and Operations Manager, this position will work as part of the team providing direct primary care for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and treatments and accurately monitor and document vital signs and symptoms.
• Provide patient and family health education using effective, needs-based teaching strategies
• Organize and deliver patient care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interprofessional team

• Communicate assessment findings within the circle of care and liaise with families and community partners

• Arrange specialist referrals and appointments in consultation with physicians and team members
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and protect confidential and sensitive information
• Support physicians during examinations, help manage patient flow, and perform other duties as assigned

We are seeking a Full-Time permanent Physician Assistant (PA) to support patient care delivery and contribute to the implementation of programs that enhance the quality of care for our patients.

As a registered and licensed Physician Assistant, you provide patient-centered care in collaboration with supervising physicians, with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and clinical management. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Physician and reporting to the Human Resources and Operations Manager, the Physician Assistant will work as part of an interprofessional team to deliver comprehensive care and support the development of clinical initiatives that improve patient outcomes. Working to the full scope of their practice, the Physician Assistant will also work both collaboratively and independently to assess patients, formulate diagnoses, and support treatment plans within established medical directives and practice guidelines.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories, physical exams, and differential diagnoses
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests in accordance with medical directives
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Prescribe medications under delegated authority and provide follow-up care, including monitoring progress and adjusting plans
• Perform delegated minor procedures such as suturing, injections, wound care, staple/suture removal, and basic casting
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, lifestyle changes, and general wellness.
• Participate in preventive care initiatives such as chronic disease management
• Collaborate with physicians and the circle of care to ensure coordinated patient care
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and allied health providers as needed
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure timely communication within the care team.

• Proof of BCLS Certification
• Demonstrated clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or relevant clinical setting

• Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team

We are seeking two Full-Time permanent Nurse Practitioner to support patient care delivery and the implementation of programs that will optimize the care of our patients.

As a registered and licensed Nurse Practitioner, you provide patient centered care under the direction of physicians, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention and treatment. Reporting to the Human Resources and Operations Manager, the Nurse Practitioner will work as part of the team to deliver care and help develop programs such as diabetic management, cervical cancer screening, well baby checkups and more.
