Off to 'The County!
I’m so excited to be heading to beautiful Prince Edward County this weekend with a group of amazing women for my Savour the County Retreat!

Students don’t know how introverted their teachers are. Most of us just have situational extroversion: when it’s’ time to stand in front of a group or teach into a camera, we have a switch that we can flip. It turns on action mode.

It’s a weird dichotomy, because most of us that became teachers did so because we fell in love with the quiet, internal experience of the practice. It’s nothing that we can’t manage, but, for most of us, learning to navigate the social landscape of teaching is the trickiest part of the job.
