Hello friends and family.. Happy Thanksgiving.
I'm so thankful for all the love and prayers I have received from all of you .
Heres the biggest update so far to date, on the 16th I will be having surgery to remove the "triple-negative" tumor.
Due to a very serious gallbladder infection, cancer treatments have halted.
I spent 4 weeks in hospital on antibiotics with the hope my gallbladder will be able to be removed and treatments could start again.
No such luck lol
I left hospital with a gallbladder drainage tube to help reduce the swelling and infection.
I will find out if this tube has worked later in the week..
Good news is since treatments can't continue the best option is surgery to remove the cancer, this will take place this Thursday the 16th.
Either way its been a journey with excitement and disappointment.
I won't get the biopsy results until, November 4th. I will also find out if more treatment is need. I don't want anyone to feel sad for me as
Let's all be thankful for the little things and the bigger things we need to experience with love and hope, as there's always someone else experiencing more then we are.
I don't feel sad nor angry that i have to experience everything that come with cancer as there are worse things one could go through. Cancer is no longer a death sentence. Yes It's scary, painful, and unknowing, but its just a journey that we will survive.
I believe God will never give us more then we can manage.
I feel blessed, and know this journey I'm on will give me new knowledge so I can help a sister In the future.
Please show otheres love and kindness this thanksgiving weekend, remember, the neighbor that lives alone, the elderly, and the young people. We all are in need for love and kindness ❤️
Till next time Sandy 💕
