I hope everyone has had a wonderful start to 2024! To all my current clients, please check your email as this notice was sent on January 30th 2024.

As a reminder, please note that the fees for massage therapy treatments will be increasing at Revive Your Health. Due to the rising cost of living and the needs of the business, effective March 1 2024 the prices will increase to the following:

30 minute treatment: $70
45 minute treatment: $85
60 minute treatment: $100
90 minute treatment: $130

*The above prices include HST*

If you have any questions or concerns with regards to this matter, please do not hesitate to send a direct message.

Please note that for the time being, Revive Your Health is no longer accepting new clients. If you wish to be added to a wait list, please contact the clinic at info@reviveyourhealth.ca

If in the future there is availability to reopen the schedule for new clients, there will be an announcement on social media and the online booking for new clients will reopen. In the meantime, if you are in immediate need of a Registered Massage Therapist please refer to the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario website under the “Find an RMT” tab.

With all the snow we’ve had this week, there’s no escaping the shovelling! Here are some helpful hints on proper body mechanics to avoid injury:

❄️ keep a wide base, keep your feet wide apart
❄️face and square your body towards the snow you want to lift, try to avoid twisting your low back
❄️bend at the knees and the hips, not your low back
❄️walk to the area you want to place the snow, rather than reaching and tossing

If you still have some post shovelling pain, massage therapy can help!

Today is day. This campaign allows people to talk freely and take action to help reduce the stigma and promote awareness regarding mental health. At Revive Your Health, we are firm believers that mental health is as important as physical health. Mental health IS health. The Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario has published this wonderful article explaining the benefits massage therapy has on mental health!

Here are some key points:

“🔹 In a given year about 1 in 5 Canadians will experience a mental illness

🔹 Mental health can influence the way someone experiences pain

🔹 Depression and anxiety can often lead to chronic pain

🔹 Massage therapy has been found to relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression

🔹 Massage therapy can be a great addition to other treatments a patient may be receiving for their mental health. “
