Our Fire Keepers will be on duty during these cold nights.

** Extreme Cold Weather Alert**

The City has called an extreme cold weather alert for the next three nights. Temperatures are expected to drop as low as -35 (with wind chill). Risk of frostbite.

People requiring emergency shelter can attend the location at 316 Spruce St. S. for assistance.

We rely on the collaboration of numerous service agencies across the city to mobilize and ensure we have capacity and a safe space for people who need it.

Mushkegowuk Council is hosting a clothing drive for the Fire Keeper Program.
The Fire Keepers will be able to distribute the clothing to those in need that are in living on the streets.
Starting Monday, donations can be dropped off at our Algonquin or Cedar location.
