Spruce Hill Lodge is a non-profit, charitable organization located in the former Porcupine General Hospital Building in South Porcupine, Ontario - a district of the City of Timmins. Incorporated in August 1997, we are the only non-profit independent living facility for seniors in the North. Our goal is to continue expanding this facility by providing services and activities, and by building partnerships within the community. Today as I returned to the Lodge from our outing Constable Joel Faubert was there with his infectious smile and a resident asked him if he was there to gift us with his bright and happy personality and his smile and his response IS THE QUOTE OF THE DAY
he replied the sweetest thing and said he knew the spot to steal the best smiles as he needed them today to brighten his day❤️

So the residents fuelled him just as much as he did us ❤️

I know Norm you’re gonna tell me tomorrow why is this on Facebook lol I will tell you and others why ….
To many they will see Norm selling 50/50 tickets and having fun doing so but what you don’t see is the reason why , the heart of the story
Everybody knows Anita is quite dedicated at her 50/50 and Norm is often her companion that keeps her company on what might have been a slow day for her so today was Anita’s Birthday and Norm knowing her dedication and goals stepped up as an Ali , a true FRIEND, I could bet that was her greatest gift that this union of such a trustworthy friendship can look this simple yet pacts such a punch when you have all the facts of why it’s so special❤️

And well the candid side of it is I’m sure Norm’s family will love seeing this ❤️
