On Remembrance Day, we honour those who have served and continue to serve to defend peace. This day is a time to respect, reflect and remember those who have fought and are fighting in the wars.
Let's remember by wearing a poppy, observing a two-minute of silence or attending a local ceremony.

On Indigenous Veterans Day, we “recognize the courage and sacrifice of First Nations, Inuit and Métis for their part in the military service.” Today, we honour their "important contributions to protect rights and freedom in Canada, and remember those who lost their lives for our country and those who lives were forever changed."

Get the support you need when you need it.
One Stop Talk offers children, youth (18 years and under) and their families immediate access to free mental health support. We provide single session counselling and direct referrals to other services when needed.
These services are provided through a network of Ontario-based infant, child and youth mental health agencies.

This year, Treaties Recognition Week is November 2-8, 2025.
This week highlights the importance in learning about Treaty rights. As a collective, “we can create greater understanding and nurture relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. Treaties Recognition Week represents one of many steps on Ontario’s journey of healing and reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.”

A range of services and supports that reflect what youth say they need: including better awareness and access to mental health and addictions services, and access to a System Navigator
Our Model:
A rotational youth wellness hub to be offered at a variety of locations, with different themes
Core services, all locations would provide:
Counselling and support services
Access to primary care as needed
Peer mentorship and peer support
Food plus basic skills building
Mental health: awareness about depression and anxiety; self-care tips; how to support a friend with mental health challenges; impacts for 7 generations
Elder support
Offer a holistic approach
Lessons in Adulting
Financial basics
Basic cooking skills
Health and wellness
Household skills
Basic organizational skills
Career development
Hub sites must:
Be a safe space for youth
Provide culturally-relevant care and services
Be informed by youth and youth-driven
Be accessible: provide transportation or bus tickets
Be linked to Living Space to provide access to 24/7 support and services
