February 13 is Wear Red Canada. Our team is wearing red to raise awareness for women’s heart health! Heart disease is the number one killer of women worldwide and the leading cause of premature death in Canadian women, yet it’s often under-diagnosed, under-treated, and under-recognized.

By wearing red on February 13, we’re aiming to spark important conversations about heart health and help spread the message that .

Heart disease is largely preventable - many risk factors are within our control. Let’s keep our hearts healthy by learning the signs, supporting one another, and sharing heart health resources with the women in our lives.

Same rules and tiers as before, just shorter.

🤔Is there a weekly step goals?
No, there isn’t a weekly step goal, but there is an overall goal for the challenge.

Your total steps for the two weeks must reach one of the tiers to be entered in the final draw.

🥉Tier 3: 70,000 total steps (approx. 5,000 steps/day)
🥈Tier 2: 105,000 total steps (approx. 7,500 steps/day)
🥇Tier 1: 140,000 total steps (approx. 10,000 steps/day)

Why join the Moc Walk Challenge?

If you are living with diabetes, you may be more likely to develop heart disease. If you have high blood pressure, your risk may be even higher.

This Heart Health Month, let's focus on ways to manage our blood pressure. Let's get those steps in by moving more.

Don't forget to have your blood pressure checked regularly.
