Tomorrow is the darkest the moon will be for this month & In the Quiet Meditation Ayurveda Yoga Ashrama our practices continue.

Diwali, or the Indian Festival of Lights is celebrated in honour the power of a small light to hold its own against the dark. It takes place on the darkest night of the year.

Traditionally, seven lamps lit and small footprints, representing Goddess Lakshmi are placed at the door. These lights are said to reflect the seven stars of Kṛttikā—the Pleiades—the constellation that gives this month its name (Vedic Kartika)

Linked to the stars are seven wheels or energy centres, known as the chakra system of the body.

Connecting us between the stars & the world below is at the heart of the Vedas. That which is above, is the same as that which is below.
As taught in Ayurveda, the universe & the body share the same design.

The tale of Lakshmi says, that "when she enters the home, she enters the body, rising through the seven lights to awaken what’s been asleep inside us."

As we shift into this new season, my wish for you is that you will open your hearts to new possibilities & deep healing.

Someone once said: "The spark of a single match, once lit, changes the darkness forever." Shine on my diamond ♦️ 💎 💍 Yogi’s

Happy Thanksgiving Day my dear Friends & Family.

Fall is definitely here...our days have grown much shorter & cooler. Brrrr Nature is showing us that it is time to wind down. As nature prepares for hibernation we too should slow down & take measures to nourish ourselves. One way is by keeping warm, putting on a scarf, layers to avoid drafts, etc.

In the Quiet: Meditation Ayurveda Yoga Astral MAYA I teach that in Ayurved grounding routines (abhyanga + nasya) are just some of the rituals to boots your immunity & vitality (aka Ojas). We will pause today, and our group session will be this coming Wednesday, the 15th @ 6.pm.

Fall - soon to shift into winter - is an invitation to simplify our routines & cook warm simmering meals. And, it's also best to keep a consistent physical practice. One that suits you, of course.

My wish, as always, is that you all take sweet care of yourselves.
Stay connected, daily or weekly, through some sort of movement. Walk, run, dance, stretch or do Yoga In the Quiet Meditation Ayurveda Yoga Ashrama

At the heart of this day, the invitation is to include gratitude for all the blessings you have received. Embrace some meditative stillness & interactive with community. Smiles & warmth, from the hearth. Namasté

Bio ~ “I Have a Life to Live”

My name is Lynn C. Pell, and I am a (Del-Ka) Light Medicine Worker. My mission is to help sensitive souls anchor their place in the cosmos (dharma), express their life patterns (karmic-actions) to govern a sense of deep peace and renewed joy.

After navigating through my own debilitating physical challenges, a divorce, a subsequent remarriage (integrating two families), a burnout, I had a spiritual transformation. Through the healing of my own body of chronic pain with ancient movement practices, connecting with healers and world-class spiritual teachers, I was able to guide become an instructor and instruct others to self-heal.

In the process of my own personal transformation, I successfully manifested my dream to open a Meditation & Energy Medicine Center with a vision to develop WHITE TIGER MANSIONS (ask me sometime)!

I'm a Yogini, an Urban Mystic, an Herbalist, a global traveller and overall a pretty creative gal, who rarely gets bored of learning new skills. Come visit me at http://inthequiet.ca
