Let’s pause for a moment and talk about one of the most important aftercare rules following your Botox treatment.

If you’ve had Botox, avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours after your injection.

Here’s why ↓

Alcohol increases blood flow and acts as a mild blood thinner. This can increase your risk of bruising, swelling, and post-injection inflammation.

In the first 24 hours, Botox is settling into the targeted muscle. Increased circulation from alcohol may increase the risk of unwanted diffusion, meaning the product may not settle as precisely as intended.

By skipping alcohol for 24 hours, you’re helping to:

✨ Reduce bruising and swelling
✨ Support proper settling
✨ Protect your final results
✨ Achieve the smoothest outcome possible

Results continue to develop over 14 days. Be patient full effect takes time.

Aftercare is just as important as the injection itself.
