Clients and visitors, be advised, the hospital will be closed Monday, November 17th, 2025, from 1PM until 3PM for staff development. If you have a critical, life-threatening emergency during this time, please call 705-264-6400 to be connected to the emergency service.

We will be open from 8AM - 1PM and from 3PM - 5PM on Monday, November 17th, 2025, and open 8AM - 5PM as usual on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025.

Today is World Kindness Day! If you can be anything in the world... be kind!

We like being kind to animals every day, but especially today. Tell your pets you love them, donate to an animal or conservation-based charity, plant native plants for our pollinators, and don't litter! We can be kind in many, many ways.

November is Pet Diabetes Month and this year, we're using it to bust some pet diabetes myths that we often hear.

#1 -- only overweight pets get diabetes.

This myth is busted! There are breeds of cat and dog that are predisposed to becoming diabetic, so sometimes it's genetic. Individual hormones also play a huge role.

The Farley Foundation is an Ontario charity that helps low income clients and seniors get life-saving medical treatment for their pets at clinics across the province. They help keep families together during the tough times, and all your money stays local to our province.
