2025, a year that has left me with so much gratitude, in more ways than one, but mostly gratitude for being able to watch my boys flourish into wonderful young men.

From my family to yours, we wish you a wonderful holiday whether you are celebrating or just enjoying time with loved ones. I love that they still indulged me with the matching PJs but I fear it may be the last year 🙃

Last week, our team at Toronto Medical Eye Associates came together for our annual holiday gathering—and once again, it was a truly memorable experience.

This year, we stepped outside the usual and took on sushi making, which turned out to be an incredible hands-on experience. From learning new skills to sharing plenty of laughs, it was a fantastic way to connect, collaborate, and enjoy time together outside of the clinic.

Experiences like these remind us how important it is to celebrate the people behind the work. It was a meaningful team-building event that strengthened our connections and reinforced the supportive, collaborative culture we’re proud to have.

Our very first Advanced Dry Eye Workshop was a huge success! 🎉 Sold out within weeks of launch, the full-day event was packed with hands-on training, engaging discussions, grand rounds, and invaluable pearls from leaders in the field.

Earlier this year, Toronto Medical Eye Associates introduced the TMEA Dry Eye Spa, a dedicated and comprehensive facility designed to provide advanced dry eye care. This new space also features an in-house training center, reflecting our commitment to both patient care and professional education. Building on my passion for teaching and lecturing, I am excited to announce the launch of small, hands-on, interactive, dry eye workshops for practitioners. Participation will be limited to an intimate group of six doctors to ensure a highly engaging and personalized learning experience.
