Best ways to treat both acute and chronic tendon injuries.
Acute injury = get that inflammation down! Rest, ensure it is not being aggravated by certain activities, and potentially even bracing. Once it’s ready, rehab comes in to get it to the right place. May also opt for icing and a light exercise plan.
Chronic injury = aggressive, hands-on treatment that will stimulate blood flow (e.g., shockwave therapy!). Add some heat, and create an exercise program that will help them recover as quickly and safely as possible.
