Why should we, RMT, opposite luxury SPA in Ontario Place
Back in 2022, I applied the massage therapist job in a 5 star hotel. After 3 months of background check, they offered me the job. Only when the contract was given to me, I realized how those luxury spa runs: they give minimum wage to the therapist when no client is available, and plus $38 to a $220 massage, that is about 25% payment! In clinics, most of us are paid to a split around 50-75%. For this bloody payment, I refused the job. Let others serve those celebrities, a professional one should be decently treated!
