Abel U is a Respite and Day Program service for Developmentally Disabled youth and Autism.

On Sunday December 7, 2025 was a truly special moment for our community.

For the first time ever, Abel U and 416 hosted a night dedicated to honoring the Super Moms, the pillars who hold our families and our community together.

The room was filled with powerful, resilient women whose love, sacrifice, and leadership inspire us every single day. When you bring strong mothers together, beautiful things happen and last night proved that.

To every mother: we SEE you, we APPRECIATE you, and we THANK you for weathering every storm for your children. Your strength is unmatched.

A major special thank you to Istar Restaurant for generously sponsoring the dinner.

Thank you to our inspiring guest speakers Chiara Padovani and Ezza Malik (Zalik Academy) for sharing your wisdom.

Thank you for bringing your delicious ( BEST COOKIES IN CANADA)

This week, our group enjoyed a beautiful fall hike full of smiles, fresh air, and great energy, followed by a well-deserved pizza lunch!

Every day with us helps our members live fulfilling, happy lives while giving parents a much-needed break knowing their young adults are supported, engaged, and enjoying themselves for 6–8 hours a day.
