Looking for feedback from the 2SLGBTQ+ community!!!
In July 2015, the Ontario Human Rights Commission intervened in a Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario Application concerning the treatment of a Trans person in custody.
A Minutes of Settlement reached with the Toronto Police Service compels the Service to revise its practices, procedures, orders and forms (PPOF) respecting the rights, needs and circumstances of Trans people as it pertains to discriminatory practices based on gender identity and expression.
Join us for our FINAL Town Hall meetings as we discuss the revised documents and mandatory training requirements. We seek community feedback on how to evaluate the impact of our training on the 2SLGBTQ+ communities. A link to the policies and procedures can be found below.
As members of the public, you could view the Town Hall via YouTube and ask question with the CHAT. We will monitor and answer as many relevant questions as possible.
