Patellar tendinitis, often called jumper’s knee, involves the tendon just below the kneecap 👇

This tendon plays an important role in running, jumping, landing, and using stairs. 🏃‍♂️

You might notice:
• discomfort at the front of the knee
• symptoms that build gradually over time
• stiffness when starting to move

This often shows up when activity increases faster than the tendon can adapt ⚖️

Management is not just about rest. It’s about understanding how the tendon responds to load.
Alongside progressive strengthening, some clinics may use shockwave therapy to help support tendon health and manage sensitivity ⚡️

Every knee is different, so guidance from a licensed provider can help you decide what’s appropriate for you 💙

Push-ups: ❌

Sometimes the smartest move is down time or just plain sleep.

I’ll loosen it. You maintain it. Team effort. Future you will thank you.

They just want consistency, warmth, and a little patience! ✨

I’d quit my job if I ever skipped this for the shoulder 😅

The shoulder doesn’t work in isolation. It relies on the scapula as its stable base for smooth, efficient movement.

When scapular control improves, lifting feels easier, strength feels smoother, and everyday movements like reaching, pushing, pulling, and working overhead feel more supported.

Train the scapula, and the shoulder usually follows. 💪

Jumping on the Olympic bandwagon… but with a little throwback 🇨🇦🏔️

Our very own Jason White, Certified Athletic Therapist and Registered Massage Therapist, was part of the Sponsored Team Canada Medical Team at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

Eight years ago, Jason was supporting some of Canada’s top athletes on the world stage, helping them prepare, recover, and perform at their best.

We’re proud to have that level of experience and dedication on our team. 💪✨

Everyone has a go-to movement and there’s a reason for it 💡

These exercises challenge balance, strength, and control in different ways, but they all share one goal: helping the body move well and move with confidence.

🤸‍♂️ Jason Handstand push-ups
Build shoulder stability, overhead strength, and body control

🧎‍♂️ Julian Deep squat
Supports hip and ankle mobility while reinforcing strong movement patterns

⚖️ Caitlyn Single-leg RDL
Improves balance, coordination, and load control on one side at a time

🦵 Ish Nordic-style curl
Challenges posterior chain strength and knee control

🦶 Jared Standing hamstring stretch
Reinforces active mobility and movement awareness

Strong movement comes from consistency, not shortcuts 💪

These are the kinds of exercises that support performance, recovery, and long-term movement health.
