A few days late posting but still thinking about what a special day Friday was. Incredible to close out Canadian Fertility Awareness Week with dedicated, passionate colleagues doing this important work. Thanks to for bringing our community together to advocate for equitable, accessible and inclusive fertility care across Canada.
So grateful to be in spaces like this with people who get it.

Secondary infertility doesn’t get talked about enough.
Partly because from the outside, it can look like you already have what you wanted. And so the grief gets minimized by others, and eventually by you.
If you’ve found yourself thinking “I should just be grateful” more times than you can count, that thought isn’t the truth. It’s what happens when pain doesn’t feel like it has permission to exist.
You can love your child deeply and still grieve the family you imagined. Those two things don’t cancel each other out.
If this is where you are, you’re not alone and you don’t have to keep talking yourself out of your own experience.
We work with people navigating exactly this. Reach out or visit the link in bio to book a consultation.

Your fertility clinic referred you for implications counselling. You Googled it. You’re not totally sure what to expect.
This carousel breaks down what that appointment actually looks like and why most people leave feeling more prepared than when they walked in.
Implications counselling is required in Canada for anyone using donor eggs, donor s***m, embryo donation, or a surrogate. At TTP, these appointments are led by Annie Peralty, who specializes in third-party reproduction and offers sessions in person and virtually, with no waitlist.
If you’ve been referred, you can book directly at torontotherapypractice.com.
If you’re a fertility clinic looking for a trusted referral partner, we’d love to connect.

It’s Canadian Fertility Awareness Week.
Whether you’re in the middle of treatment, waiting on answers, grieving a loss, or quietly wondering what comes next, this week is for you.
Fertility touches so many parts of life, and most people carry it without anyone knowing.
We see you, wherever you are in this.

Alana has spots open for new clients. 🤍
If you’ve been on the fence about starting therapy, Alana might just be the person to get you off it.
She’s a registered social worker with 23 years of experience, including her time at Mount Sinai Hospital’s perinatal mental health program. She’s warm, a little funny, and the kind of therapist who will actually tell you what she thinks.
She works with individuals and couples through pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, pregnancy loss, relationship changes, and the life transitions that are hard to explain to anyone who hasn’t been through them.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy from the first session. With Alana, it usually doesn’t.
Book through our website or send us a DM. We’d love to connect you with her. 🤍
