Outside of Canada it is sometimes called Canadian Thanksgiving to distinguish it from Thanksgiving in the United States, held on a different date.

➡️ DONOR EGG
This service is a consideration for the older female patient in her 40’s. Although women may still have menstrual cycles, the quality of their eggs is reduced to the point that only 5-10% of women can become pregnant by their mid 40’s.
MCF does attempt to improve oocyte quality for this group optimizing their chances with their on egg, first and if unsuccessful considering Donor Egg.
MCF has associations with various companies and International locations to assist you with this preferred method. It is also affiliated with lending financial companies that provide you with the option of financial assistance for medical procedures.

DONOR S***M 👌

↪️ This assisted technology can be considered when a partner has an extremely low count or no cell count and has been considered incapable of fertilizing an oocyte.
↪️ The preferred s***m donor is chosen by the couple from the s***m banks available in the General Toronto Area. Other sources can be considered using Canadian guidelines.
The chosen sample is transported to MCF for use at the right ovulation time for the insemination.
The process is then similar to the regular IUI procedure.

↪️ Single women or same-s*x couples can consider this option to start a family of their own.

➡️ IUI SERVICES

Couples are recommended to have an IUI (intrauterine Insemination) when their partner has a low s***m count, poor motility, or low volume.
It can be beneficial for uterine position, small cervix, and mechanical reasons.
It can bypasses the problems of hostile mucus, bacteria, and acidic environment in the reproductive tract. Couples also consider an IUI with unexplained infertility and is usually the next course of action to natural cycle monitoring.
It is simple procedure for the patient that is normally very painless.
The process selects the healthy more motile s***m through s***m washing in nutrient media. These cells are placed inside the uterus confirming their position for fertilization to take place. A medical professional will recommend an IUI depending on your history, age, and length of time of infertility.

Happy Father’s Day 🇨🇦🥰

What Do People Do?
Many people in Canada celebrate Father’s Day in a variety of ways to express their love and gratitude to fathers or father figures.

Father’s Day activities include:
- Participating in Father’s Day fun runs and other events in which the proceeds go towards charity or prostate cancer research.
- Buying presents such as neckties and other items of clothing, chocolates, books or equipment for various types of hobbies.
- Giving handmade or purchased cards.
- Breakfasts, brunches, lunches, or dinners either at home or in restaurants.
- Taking fathers or father figures out to the movies, the park, the zoo, or another place of interest.

Some people organize joint Father’s Day parties and activities with close friends and family. Those who live away from their fathers or father figures may make long-distance phone calls, send an email or online card, or arrange for gifts to be delivered on Father’s Day. Some museums and other venues open to the general public may host special Father’s Day celebrations where fathers and father figures can enter free of charge.

NATIONAL HEALTH AND FITNESS DAY is HERE 🇨🇦

Canada is facing an inactivity crisis. Daily physical activity is on the decline and preventable illness is on the rise. It's time to get up, get out, and get active! National Health and Fitness Day (NHFD) is an initiative to challenge Canada to become the Fittest Nation on Earth, starting with making one day, the first Saturday in June, the day when Canadians get out and get active in any way they wish.

With the passage of the National Health and Fitness Day Act in 2014, Canada gained a Day to celebrate.

Our Patients say:

“We are so thankful we found this clinic. We had four children, all girls and really wanted to have a boy. We found the MCF Reproductive clinic online. We thought to give it a try and booked a consultation. After the initial consultation with Ann, we felt very confident in her knowledge and background in reproductive health. She provided us with a diet plan to follow along with additional supplements to take and explained the importance of timing to conceive to have a certain gender. We followed all her advice and i have given birth to a healthy baby boy. Thank you for everything Ann and all the staff members at the MCF Reproductive clinic. They are all a part of our successful journey and made us always feel so welcomed and confident in their knowledge and practice. Highly recommend this clinic.”
