I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to meet Richard Simmons at CanFitPro trade show. I told Richard it was my birthday and I asked to take a picture with him. He was so sweet and said “of course”. So then I said to Richard “let’s flex our biceps for the picture”. As we’re posing, he says “your muscles are bigger than mine”. I’ll always cherish this short encounter. He was an incredible fitness mentor, an inspiration to so many people. RIP Richard Simmons.
