As we bid farewell to this remarkable year, let’s reflect on the special moments we’ve shared together at The Russell Hill Retirement Residence. We’ve had a year full of growth, laughter, and connection, and we are incredibly proud of all that we’ve accomplished as a community.
This year, 28 of our amazing staff members celebrated 10 or more years with us, a testament to the dedication and passion that make The Russell Hill such a special place to call home.
We enjoyed over 70 live concerts from incredibly talented performers who brought music and joy to our lives.
Our adventures were unforgettable, with 35 incredible outings—from exploring the Shaw Festival, the Stratford Festival, to dining at some of the finest restaurants, visiting inspiring art exhibits, sailing on lake cruises, and even soaring on helicopter rides.
Our Wishing Tree flourished as hundreds of wishes were tied to its branches, with many becoming a reality thanks to the collective heart of our community.
And through the creativity and hard work of our resident artists, we raised funds for the Churches on the Hill Foodbank, making a meaningful difference for those in need.
As we step into 2025, we look forward to another year filled with joy, connection, and new adventures. May the year ahead bring peace, love, and countless blessings to each and every one of you.
