Want to spice up your evening routine? Here's how we made this yummy Chamomile Lavender Latte, with a special twist🍄☕

Ingredients:
- 12-16 ounces milk of choice, heated
- two chamomile tea bags or 1tbsp dried chamomile flowers
- 1 teaspoon dried lavender buds
- 1-2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
- 2-4 droppers of Calm

Directions:
1. Pour hot milk into a glass
2. Add the chamomile and lavender to a tea infuser ball and then into the hot milk. Let steep for 5-8 minutes, and then remove the infuser ball
3. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup and add droppers of Calm
4. Stir to combine and enjoy!

The day of September 20th has been deemed , more commonly referred to as 920. Created by Nicholas Reville in 2015, the naming references the beginning of autumn when mushrooms are most plentiful, and nods to the well-known cannabis day, 420.

Why Celebrate?
920 is not just a celebration of mushrooms, its deeper purpose is to highlight their potential for therapeutic uses. As we know, mushrooms have been used for thousands of years for their spiritual and medicinal properties. Emerging research continues to show the promising benefits of mushrooms and their impact on overall well-being.

In 2023 and 2024, clinical trials examined psilocybin’s effectiveness for major depression, with research suggesting up to 62% of current depression patients could benefit if it received FDA approval. Additionally, studies from Johns Hopkins show that psilocybin-assisted therapy can provide long-lasting relief from depressive symptoms, and global research is exploring its use for other conditions like anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders.

Why is it important?
920 is a greater movement aimed at advancing the education of mushrooms. It encourages advocacy, and policy changes that would make these alternative treatments legally recognized and more accessible. By fostering better education and encouraging responsible use, 920 helps pave the way for continued research and more informed discussions about the potential of mushrooms.
