You can eat “clean”… and still not feel toned.
I’ve been there.
For the longest time, I was eating mostly whole, plant-based foods — lots of carbs, veggies… doing all the “right” things.

And yes, the scale would go down…
But my body didn’t look or feel the way I expected.
Especially after 40, things just hit different.

Less definition.
More softness.
Energy all over the place.
What I didn’t realize back then was this:

👉 “Healthy” doesn’t always mean your body is getting what it needs to stay strong.
Once I started prioritizing protein (still fully plant-based) and training with more intention…

Everything changed.
More strength.
Better energy.
And finally starting to feel more toned — not just smaller.
And I’m not saying you need to be perfect…
But structure matters. Especially as we get older.
