2026 is all about new beginnings here at Beames: new space, new students, new ways of learning.

As we move into February, we're continuing to focus on education, transformation stories, and the real outcomes craniosacral therapy creates for babies and families.

If you've been following along and you're curious about how CST could benefit your practice, we'd love to hear from you. Drop a 🙋 in the comments or DM me your questions.

And if you haven't yet, download our free guide: "10 Signs a Baby Needs Bodywork" - link in bio.

A mom brings her baby in after weeks of painful nursing. She's seen lactation consultants, had ties released, tried different positions. Nothing's working.

You assess the baby's mouth and tongue mobility. You gently release the bones of the hard palate. Within minutes, the suck improves.
That's what Level 2 teaches you.

Most feeding struggles aren't just about anatomy; they're about nerve function. When cranial nerves aren't working properly, babies can't coordinate their suck, swallow, and breathe. The tongue stays tense. The jaw stays tight.

In this 5-day immersive training, you'll learn cranial releases that address the root cause. You'll work with real babies, ask questions in the moment, and leave with techniques you can use immediately in your practice.
You'll become the practitioner families drive hours to see. The one who gets results when everything else has failed.

New March 24-27 cohort just added in Toronto. Ready to make this level of impact?

You know what's interesting? Most healthcare professionals who take our training already work with families.

They're lactation consultants, speech-language pathologists, doulas, midwives, physical therapists. They're seeing babies every day who are struggling, and they want another tool to help.

That's exactly who this training is for.

CST gives you the ability to assess and treat the fascial restrictions and birth trauma that cause the symptoms you're already trying to manage. It deepens your skillset and makes you more effective at what you already do.

Why do some babies struggle with reflux, gas, and constipation even when parents change their diet, try medication, and follow all the advice?

Because the root cause isn't always in the gut, it could be in other parts of the body.

Swipe to learn how craniosacral therapy helps improve digestion by addressing the fascial restrictions and nervous system dysregulation that could cause these symptoms.

Learning craniosacral therapy isn't about memorizing protocols. It's about training your hands to feel what the body is showing you.

That's why our CST Foundations program emphasizes tactile sensitivity, practice, and guided feedback; not just theory.

Swipe to see what makes our training different.

5 grams of pressure. That's the weight of a nickel.

That's how light your touch needs to be to feel restrictions in a baby's body.

Any more pressure and you'll miss what you're looking for. The restrictions are almost invisible.

This is why learning CST takes time, practice, and feedback.

Not all crying is colic (pain from gas). Sometimes, it's the body asking for help.

Babies who experienced birth trauma; whether from a long labor, fast delivery, assisted birth, or NICU stays often hold tension in their abdomen, spine, cranial base, and neck. This tension affects digestion, breathing, and nervous system regulation.

That's where craniosacral therapy helps. We release the restrictions that make babies uncomfortable so that they can relax, digest, and feel comfortable in their bodies.
How could the babies you work with benefit?

Level 2 isn't just more techniques. It's pattern recognition.

You'll start seeing:
- How restriction patterns connect across the body.
- How birth trauma shows up months later.
- How to work with babies who haven't responded to other approaches.

This is the training for practitioners who want to handle complex cases confidently. The families who come to you have usually tried everything else.
You’ll learn to see what others have missed.

Tongue tie releases are becoming more common, but many babies still struggle with feeding after the procedure. Here's why craniosacral therapy helps improve outcomes.

A tongue tie release addresses the restricted tissue, but it doesn't address the compensatory patterns the baby's body developed while adapting to the restriction. Their jaw, neck, and face learned to work differently, and those patterns don't disappear just because the tie is released.

That's where craniosacral therapy comes in. We help the body unlearn those patterns and restore natural movement so babies can use their newly released tongue more optimally.

Why do we teach CST on adults before babies?
Because babies are moving targets - literally.

Without established tactile sensitivity, you'll miss the restrictions causing their symptoms. And you'll frustrate yourself learning on a squirmy baby who can't give you feedback.

Here's why starting with adults prepares you for infant work.

CST Foundations starts today.

We could offer a weekend intensive and get more students through faster. But that's not how you build the tactile sensitivity this work requires.

Here's why our 4-week program with weekly practice and instructor feedback is essential.

Not all tongue ties are created equal.

Sometimes what looks like a tongue tie is actually cranial nerve dysfunction causing tension in the tongue.

I've seen babies with all the classic signs: poor latch, tongue that won't elevate, clicking during feeds. Everyone assumes it's a tie. But what if the frenulum is not short or tethered?

When you assess the cranial nerves, you'll likely find compression at the hypoglossal canal, or temporal bone restrictions affecting the vagus nerve.

Releasing these bones can help the tongue move optimally, without the need for surgical release.

This is why understanding cranial nerves matters when you're working with feeding issues.

Curious about this? DM “Level 2” and we’ll help you out.
