What a special evening! ๐ŸŽถ

Yesterday, members of the Symphonic Passion Chorus came together at Surrey Place to have a nice meal, reconnect with friends and reflect together on the memories from the 20th anniversary concert this past December.

To everyone who attended the concert, cheered them on and donated, thank you. With your support, youโ€™ve helped sustain the community the choir has built. We hope to see you again later this year. โค๏ธโ˜ƒ๏ธ

"For me volunteering is about what you can give, but also the wonderful feelings you get back in return."

As comes to a close, we are proud to recognize Michael Richardson, a valued member of our Board of Directors. ๐Ÿ’™

As a parent of a son with autism, Michael's connection to Surrey Place is deeply personal. His family benefitted from Surrey Place's support, and that experience inspired him to join our Board in 2009, where he served almost a decade before rejoining in June 2020.

Michael brings decades of experience as a business and technology leader, having held senior roles with IBM, Oracle and Sun Microsystems, and co-founding several successful Canadian technology companies.

Thank you, Michael, for your leadership, your dedication and for the meaningful impact you continue to make at Surrey Place. ๐Ÿ’™
