Hi, Iโm Kristy, and I feel like Iโve never officially introduced myself to you.
Last December, I opened my own massage therapy practice ๐โโ๏ธ and with ๐ weekend upon us I want to share the origin story of how I became a massage therapist.
In 2013, I ๐ดโโ๏ธ 600km in six days, from Toronto to Montreal for the Friends For Life Bike Rally in support of the Toronto People With AIDs Foundation It was such an amazing experience that over the next 5 years, I registered to ride or be a crew member raising over $7,500 for PWA.
My exposure to the RMTS who volunteered their time to keep riders and crew functioning at their best was what sparked my interest. In 2016, I was enrolled in the massage therapy program at Centennial College, and it changed the course of my life. I highly recommend reaching out to see how you can get involved in the Bike Rally this summer, which is now in its 25th year!
I โค๏ธ my job because I get to help people feel better and back to doing the things they love!
I โค๏ธ my job because learning never stops when it comes to solving the issues with your tissues!
I โค๏ธ my job because I get to support you in your health and wellness journey, and I feel honoured that you have entrusted me with your care, a responsibility I take very seriously.
Iโve created a warm and comforting clinic space where at the heart of it my aim is to reduce the effects of stress on the bodyโs tissues through assessment, hands-on treatment and home care suggestions; because I truly believe
A few fun facts about me: I speak Hungarian, I've sung in operas (Aida was my favourite!), performed stand-up comedy, and even hitch-hiked to Dawson City in the Yukon! I'm also passionate about creating a more beautiful and just world.
Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet, and I hope you'll stick around for a while, feel free to introduce yourself below and If you'd like to experience one of my treatments, you can click the link in my bio for more info. Have a safe and ๐
