Postpartum intimacy isn’t talked about enough, yet so many people quietly wonder, “Is this normal?”

After birth, intimacy can feel different both physically and emotionally. That doesn’t mean something is wrong. It means your body is healing, adapting, and learning what feels safe again. Moving at your own pace, tuning into comfort, and asking questions all matter.

Pelvic physiotherapy can help you better understand what’s happening in your body, address discomfort, and rebuild confidence during this stage of recovery.

🤱 Save and share this with anyone who could use reassurance and support during postpartum healing.

Even the best ergonomic setup can’t replace movement.

Sitting for more than 30 minutes without getting up can start to affect circulation, muscle activity, and joint mobility. Over time, that’s when stiffness, muscle strain, and those lingering aches begin to show up.

Try to move every 30 to 60 minutes ⏰ Even a quick stretch, short walk, or posture reset can improve blood flow and reduce pressure on your spine.

Your body was made to move, not stay in one position all day ✨

Balance isn’t just about standing on one leg. It’s about confidence in every step you take 👣

If you’ve noticed unsteadiness, recurring ankle sprains, or hesitation on stairs, your balance system might need targeted training.

Physiotherapy works on strengthening key muscles, improving joint control, and retraining your nervous system to react quickly and efficiently.

Better balance means:

💪 Fewer falls
💪 Stronger ankles and hips
💪 More confidence in daily movement
💪 A safer return to sport or activity

Whether you’re recovering from an injury or simply want to feel steadier on your feet, balance training is one of the smartest investments you can make for your long-term mobility ✨

Say hi to Briana Neang!

Briana is a graduate of the Master of Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto. She was inspired to pursue physiotherapy after volunteering at a pediatric physiotherapy clinic, and her passion for movement grew through teaching barre group fitness classes.

She is passionate about meeting people where they are and helping them move with confidence while building trust in their bodies. 💪

Throughout her degree, Briana gained experience working with a variety of populations, from pediatric to geriatric, in both public and private settings.

She takes an active, patient-centered approach to care, incorporating exercise prescription, education, and hands-on therapy. Her background in group fitness supports an engaging, movement-focused approach to rehab. Her goal is to help patients feel better, better understand their bodies, and achieve long-term success.

Outside of the clinic, Briana enjoys going to concerts, trying new restaurants around Toronto, and attending Pilates or HIIT classes.🧘‍♀️
