Not every exercise is made for your body.
We’re seeing a lot of neck exercises online where the head is hanging off the bed in deep extension.
Looks harmless… but for some people, it can compress structures in the cervical spine and affect blood flow through the vertebral arteries.
🚩 If you ever feel:
• dizziness
• lightheadedness
• blurred vision
That’s not “normal.” That’s your body asking you to stop.
A safer approach:
✔ Keep the neck in a neutral or slightly supported position
✔ Focus on controlled movement, not end-range stretching
✔ Build strength without forcing extension
Strong doesn’t mean aggressive.
Smart always wins.
