Sqft pricing is a slippery slope. When clients start window shopping for lowest bid, they often ignore that each project is different in subtle ways. This addition had a blend of old and new joists resulting in a wavy ceiling if left as. By leveling the ceiling with a combo of furring channels and L tracks we were able to get that super flat ceiling that your new few 100k addition deserves.
