www.larryborins.com Want to learn how to recognize and stop the pattern in its tracks and do something better?

Have you ever had the feeling that you get into the same kind of conflict, over and over again, in your relationship? Every day I help my clients feel more grounded and secure in their relationships and this in turn helps them better able to take on the world! Counselling is effective and can support you to discover new possibilities for yourself, your relationship and your future. The secret to cracking the code of connection and love is to move towards emotions in order to understand them. This process may involve resolving arguments that have left you feeling lonely and isolated or reduce stressful emotions like panic, anxiety, and depression. Adult bonding and all the emotions involved in this - is the key. Combined with a disciplined approach and the extensive theoretical knowledge essential to sound clinical practice, I believe my success is rooted in my integrity, ethics, open mind, and sensitivity. I cherish my clients' trust; it's the foundation of our work together. Larry Borins, MSW, RSW holds a Masters degree from Wurzweiler School of Social Work, Yeshiva University with a specialization in mental health. Larry has provided individual, family and couples psychotherapy to clients in outpatient hospitals, the private practice healthcare sector and community service settings.

In recent years, conversations about toxic masculinity, generational trauma, and men’s mental health have gained traction, shedding light on issues that have long been in the shadows. As a psychotherapist, I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact these factors have on men’s emotional well-being. Those who are able to break the chain and spare themselves and the future generations from the pain are the true unsung heroes. MensMentalHealth

Every human on Earth is a pain in the ass. We’re all needy, sensitive, high-maintenance, difficult, annoying, and then some.

You may not see the cracks from afar, but you’ll definitely see them up close. Once a relationship deepens, your full selves are put on display.

If you ever find yourself saying, “I don’t have this problem with ___,” it’s likely not because they’re easier to get along with than your partner, it’s that you just don’t know them well enough.

How do you greet your partner when you reunite? Do you yell hi from the other room or do you make it a point to go and physically embrace?

It may seem small, but taking a moment to physically greet one another can make a big difference in your relationship. Physical touch can help your nervous systems sync up, so you are both regulated and on an even level with one another. This can help you foster a sense of security with one another.

Try this the next time you reunite. Say hello with a hug and hold each other until you can feel both of your muscles relax. 💞
