Scarborough Eye Care At Scarborough Eye Care, it's our mission to provide compassionate and personalized eye care for every patient.

Dr. Angela Yoon received her Honours Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Waterloo in 2001. Following graduation, she practiced at a retinal ophthalmology clinic for four years where she gained valuable experience in the area of low vision, glaucoma, retinal disease, cataract, and eye emergencies. She has since practiced in the Greater Toronto Area in a variety of settings, including a low vision clinic, a refractive surgical centre, and several optometry group practices. Dr. Yoon is actively involved in the profession and is currently a Policy Consultant for the Ontario Association of Optometrists. Prior to this, she served as a member of the Patient Relations Committee and as a Quality Assurance Assessor for the College of Optometrists of Ontario. Dr. Yoon has a special interest in low vision therapy, eye disease management, and children's vision. She welcomes patients of all ages and looks forward to serving families in the Scarborough and surrounding communities.

On September 1st, Optometrists will stop providing eye care to all patients covered by OHIP. It is illegal for Optometrists in Ontario to accept private insurance or direct payment for these exams. Therefore, there will be no exams available for children, seniors, or adults with vision-threatening conditions.
