IPEC - Interprofessional Education Council at CCNM Inter-Professional Education Council (IPEC) at CCNM More about NaHSSA here: www.nahssa.ca

The Inter-Professional Education Council (IPEC) is the go-to group at CCNM if you want to be more involved in Integrative Medicine, learn more about Inter-Professional collaboration, network with students from other Health Professions, build meaningful relationships, and teach others about your profession in both professional and social settings. Our Mandate:

To create a fun and educational environment in which students have the opportunity to interact with and learn from one another. As future health care providers, we believe that fostering a strong inter-professional relationship, involving understanding, appreciation, and co-operation between health disciplines, is the key to providing our patients with the best care they can receive. Thus, the first steps start with us, the students, as we develop within and beyond our health care disciplines. IPEC @ CCNM and its Affiliations with other Professions via IPHSA, NaHSSA, & OIHC :

IPEC at CCNM is part of the Inter-Professional Healthcare Students' Association (IPHSA) composed of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) & University of Toronto Health Sciences Department. This association boasts students from over 15 different health professions from: Naturopathic Medicine, Chiropractic Medicine, Nursing, Allopathic Medicine, Pharmacy, Social Work, Physician Assistant, Dentistry, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Education & Health, Medical Radiation Sciences, and Nutritional Sciences. More about IPHSA here: http://iphsaipe.weebly.com/

As part of IPHSA - the IPE Council is connected nationally through the National Health Sciences Students' Association (NaHSSA) - a network of university and college-based chapters and students that promote inter-professional education and collaborative practice across Canada.
