Yoga Grove - Small classes. Big difference. Yoga Grove offers expert yoga instruction in small classes of no more than 8 students.

At Yoga Grove, yoga classes are purposefully kept small so that everyone can have a personal experience of yoga. Many people find themselves lost in a large studio class, unsure if they are doing the right thing as they try to follow the instructor, and are they are unable to ask questions or get clarification throughout the class. With class sizes limited to 6, students find that yoga is much more accessible, as the instructor is able to personalize the class to the needs, level and interests of the group, as well as to interact with the students throughout the classes. There are a wide variety of yoga styles and levels to choose from, enabling participants to strengthen their bodies, release tension and increase flexibility, as well as to relax the mind and come away with a sense of calm and equanimity that carries through to their everyday lives.

"Paddahastasana; one of my all time fave poses. In Sanskrit padda translates to ‘foot’ and hasta, ‘hand’. Foot to hand pose. We hold a lot of energy in our hands and I’ve always felt like this pose completes the cycle of energy, a continuous circle. It also feels really nice for the wrists if you wiggle the toes around a bit.
I never thought I’d be able to feel comfortable in this pose, it’s taken years. If you want to try; bend the knees if your hamstring are tight, and it’s okay if only the tips of the fingers reach under your feet. Breathe and relax. ✨ " Nikki Gauci

We're very excited to announce a new type of yoga class to the schedule, starting this Saturday!
Leeay's new Creative and Intuitive Flow class introduced you to an intuitive, fearless and fluid style of yoga that emphasizes synchronous breath and creative transitions. These, together with a slightly swifter rhythm of movement than other classes, transform the practice into a playful moving meditation.
Familiarity with Sun Salutations is recommended for this class, and because of the pacing, it would be less suitable for beginners.
We hope you can join Leeay this Saturday. Book at our website:

Practice chaturanga as a way to find stability and strength while pulling and transitioning through poses. Try variations on the wall or using a chair with less load on the shoulders to find the pull without the dumping forward. Eventually you can take it to the floor. Slooow, stable and strong rather than fast and floppy.

Check our schedule and join our classes in person or online.

Once you get into your pose, connect with your breath. Follow your breath and let your inhalations and exhalations slow down. Maintaining your awareness of your breath can help you stay present in the pose rather than thinking about something else. This awareness of your breath will help you learn to keep your focus during difficult moments in life.

Do you wander if you are ready for yoga? Am I flexible enough? Am I fit enough?
"You are always ready for a mindfulness practice. You are ready when you are feeling calm and centered, when frenetic and stressed. You are ready when full of energy, when tired, sore and weak. You are ready when hopeful and when you feel hopeless. In all of these states your practice, Ashtanga being one path to chose, is there and ready for the struggle.
Come to your mat, walk the sacred path that guides you through your practice, and learn to breath through it all. Some days you may be able to do everything, some days you will do less, but there is depth and centeredness that comes with showing up, giving 100 percent and releasing any preconceived notions of what you think the outcome should be.
Breathing through the struggle, it’ll redefine you, on and off the mat." Jennifer Whyte
Jennifer teaches Vinyasa yoga, Ashtanga yoga, and Rhythm and Release classes. Join Jennifer for any of her classes to get on your mat and have fun! Let your practice meet you where you are. Check our schedule or book your class at our website.

Meet Ali Lipson. Ali's passion for movement began with an Ashtanga Vinyasa class.
Soon after her first YTT in 2001, she started teaching in the Vinyasa style. It didn't take long before she became curious about moving in new and different ways, it was clear to her that the physical practice of yoga is just one of a myriad of ways to move and train the body. She soon found other modalities, among them strength training, Pilates, Natural Movement and Somatics. Her classes are a distillation of her love for all of these disciplines.
She leads Wise Warriors Yoga Thursdays at 11 am. Join her so she can help you to be curious and resilient in your own practice. Sign up for her classes on our website:
