What an amazing experience competing against three other communities—and coming out on top! 🏆
Even more special than the win was the connection. We start with a social check-in before the game, share some laughs, and then jump into playing together. It’s such a wonderful way to bring seniors together, especially those who live alone. Proof that a little friendly competition + meaningful connection = a whole lot of joy

Bingo is always a favourite around here—and for good reason!
Our bingo games are always well attended, full of laughter, friendly competition, and lots of smiling faces. It’s a wonderful way for everyone to come together, socialize, and enjoy a fun, familiar activity they truly love.
Beyond the fun, bingo offers so many benefits. It helps keep minds active by supporting concentration, memory, and listening skills, while also encouraging social interaction and a sense of community. Most importantly, it brings joy, connection, and a feeling of belonging—something we value so much.
Eyes on the cards, ears on the numbers, and hearts full of happiness—bingo days are the best days! 💙🎶

We’d love to shine a light on David and an incredible discovery!
While working on a project together, David rediscovered a hidden talent for painting—and wow, is he ever talented. Not only did we learn about his love for boats, but we also uncovered a deep passion for art that he hadn’t explored in some time.
Moments like these remind us why person-centred programming matters so much. Taking the time to truly know our residents opens the door to creativity, joy, and meaningful connection. There is always so much to learn about each other, and we’re grateful to be part of that journey with David. 💙

We’re so grateful to share the heart behind our recent fundraising initiative. We chose to support a small seniors care home in Jamaica that was hit hard by the hurricanes and is still working through recovery. We had the chance to speak with the general manager and several of the residents, and hearing how happy and touched they were that we were thinking of them truly meant everything. 💛 We decided to send our donation directly to the home so that every dollar can be used in the ways they feel are most needed. Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative, and a special thank you to the incredible staff who continue to care for and uplift their residents every single day. Together, we’re making a difference. 🙏✨

Our residents had a great time playing cards and Jenga — and while a competitive streak definitely came out, it was perfectly balanced by lots of laughter during the Jenga game! 😂 Every toppled tower brought smiles, cheers, and plenty of fun.

Our residents have been having a wonderful time getting creative! 🎨❄️🌸
We spent time painting beautiful winter scenes and making lovely flower bracelets, and as always, crafts were a big hit here at MRR. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and pride in every finished piece.
A huge shout-out to our top-notch Lifestyles Team for making these moments so special and for always bringing fun, creativity, and care to our residents’ days. 💙

What a truly wonderful time we had recently when the Scarborough Seniors Society came to visit and entertain our residents! 💙
There was dancing, singing, and beautiful music played on instruments — and every moment was enjoyed by all. Smiles filled the room, toes were tapping, and spirits were lifted as our residents joined in the fun. 🎶💃🕺
