Chi Junky® is Toronto’s premier boutique yoga studio located in the east end of Toronto in Leslieville. Our 4,000 square foot studio prides itself on stunning design and attention to detail. The space offers two luxurious practice studios, spacious and elegant treatment rooms, guest relaxation lounge and premium alkaline water bar. All of our classes are available virtually, so you can keep the Chi flowing from anywhere. Our top grade livestream technology allows for a fully interactive class experience with excellent audio and visuals. Our mission is to provide a beautiful space, rooted in community, that feels like a home away from home. The Chi Crew, a team of some of the cities top instructors, are ready to welcome you and take you on a journey through a moving meditation from beginning to end. Encouraging you to move in a way that feels good for you, always. Let go of the moments before you stepped onto the mat and get lost in the cathartic release that happens through movement and music. A place to release and transcend in music that moves you physically and emotionally, welcoming all to step into your chi. All you need to do is show up, relax and let us take care of the rest.

January 25th marked the 12th anniversary of Chi J***y, hard to believe what this studio has become, far beyond anything my imagination could have ever dreamed up. From my small dream and humble start in 2014 at 70 McGee St, I started in one small room that held 4 mats. They were multi coloured, the brand was purple and green and I was a one woman show with my sidekick, the studio greeter and sometimes feet warmer in savasana, Coconut.

My day one vision was to have a full service experience where people could have a semi-private class, complimentary tea and water and no more than 4 people in class for $25 and that’s where the full service started…

In 2016 after 2 years of giving it my all, bootstrapping trying to run a brick and mortar, all while still teaching at other studios and in home private yoga lessons to pay the bills, it was relentlessly hard and no one was showing up. Gutted and exhausted I decided I would give it 6 months more before I would close the Chi J***y studio. And before I knew it and even though I changed nothing, people just started to show up…. and the Chi J***y studio grew to the studio you know today.

Ps. IYKYK slide 7/8 before metrolinx we had a secret garden roof deck where we ran outdoor classes, it was an oasis in the city.

The goldilocks of flows, not too fast, not too slow… it’s just right. Offered early am as AWAKEN to start the day or MIDDAY RESET to reset the day. Expect a chilled out playlist.
 SLAY + STRETCH 💪🧘🏾‍♂️🎶
The best of both worlds, our fave 30/30 combo. 30 minutes of a heat building flow followed by 30 minutes of a slowed down deep stretch. Expect a split playlist with beats to move you followed by something super chill to zen you out.

SWEAT FLOW 🔥🔥🎶
A power style flow class with a focus on louder music, upbeat playlists and strength building flows to build heat and make you sweat! For a really sweaty, beat driven experience try the AMPED UP version!
