Stroke is a medical emergency where every minute matters. Knowing the signs and acting immediately can be the difference between life and disability.

Remember the key warning signs with F.A.S.T.:
Face: Does one side droop when they smile?
Arms: Does one arm drift down when they lift both?
Speech: Is their speech slurred or difficult to understand?
Time: Note the time symptoms started, and call emergency services immediately.

The sooner stroke treatment begins, the greater the chance of recovery, from emergency medication to rehab that brings strength and independence back.
