Precious Flower Healthcare Inc. Precious Flower Healthcare is a community based respite agency that provides 24 hours per day services to individuals with a disability from ages 18 and up.

Staff members are devoted to helping individual's within there home or in the community. Precious Flower Healthcare has staff who are well trained and have over several years of experience aiding many people in the community including: seniors, youth, children, families, and people with physical and developmental disabilities. Precious Flower Healthcare provides one on one support to individuals within their own homes while also ensuring the safety and well being of the participant being supported. What does Precious Flower Healthcare Do? Precious Flower Healthcare has a team of Personal Support Workers that help clients live more comfortably, safely and as independently as possible. Our skills and compassionate support can also be a great assistance to family and caregivers. Thus, we promote inclusion and integration by helping the individuals stay connected and to build confidence to thrive within the community. Personal Vision:

Starting at a very young age, I grew up with a vision of helping individuals who were not able to help themselves. At nine years old I found myself helping a blind woman with her daily living such as carrying drinking water, fire wood and house duties. Consequently, this experience inspired me to want to help others, and as I got older the vision continued to resonate with me. Helping others and assisting them to lead a better quality of life is my personal vision. Fees for services will be discussed upon consultation, no one is denied care because of their financial limitations. We also offer flexibility in hours to meet each individual’s needs.

These moments remind us why creating supportive, inclusive spaces matters. Showing up, sharing space, trying new things, and supporting one another along the way are at the heart of what we do. Each activity, conversation, and connection added something meaningful to our days.
As we wrap up the year, we’re carrying these memories forward with gratitude for everyone who made them possible. Thank you for being part of our journey. We look ahead with care and intention. ✨

🌿 Continued Care is Important 🌿

Transitioning into adult healthcare can feel overwhelming, but there are many services designed to support young adults along the way. 💚

Holland Bloorview continues to offer dental care up to age 22, including jaw surgery and related recovery support. They also provide orthotics services for individuals over 18, such as foot and ankle braces, spinal supports, and protective headgear (doctor’s referral required).

As you move into adult care, your family doctor becomes your main point of contact, while organizations like DSO and Ontario Health at Home can help with additional service coordination and support.

Adults who benefit from communication tools can also access Writing Aids and AAC Clinics through various healthcare providers, with referrals needed for some programs.
