Have you thought about what you want to pass down beyond finances?
Legacy planning isn’t just about money or assets. It’s about sharing the knowledge, values, and financial wisdom that can help your family make confident decisions long after you’re gone.
Today marks the National Day of Mourning, a time to pause and honour the lives lost, or forever changed, by workplace tragedy.
It is also a moment to reflect on our shared responsibility to care for one another, and to remain committed to safer, healthier workplaces for all.
Today, we honour every life, recognize the families and coworkers who continue to grieve, and stand together in compassion and remembrance.
🖤 We remember. We honour. We remain committed.

Administrative Professionals Day is a chance to say thank you to the people who keep our teams organized, supported and connected. Whether they support families on the front lines at our funeral homes and cemeteries or work behind the scenes at Home Office to support operations, our administrative professionals play a vital role in the work we do—and we’re better because of them. We appreciate you today and every day!

In moments of grief, it can be hard to remind ourselves of a brighter time than where we stand right now.
This is a gentle reminder to embrace gratitude as a form of remembrance. Let's be grateful that our lives were touched by the people we are mourning, the love they gave, the memories they left behind, and the impact they will always have on us.

By naming a lunar crater after Commander Reid Wiseman’s late wife, Carroll, the Artemis II crew honoured a deeply human impulse: the desire to ensure the people who shape our lives are remembered.
Even as humanity reaches farther into space exploration and deeper into the universe, moments like these remind us how essential love and remembrance are. Neither distance nor time can diminish the meaning of honouring those we hold close.
The Artemis II crew proposed new names for two lunar craters on Monday as they continued their spaceflight. One of the names was Carroll, after the late wife...

Many people are surprised by how many myths still surround funerals. The truth is, a funeral doesn’t have to be a sombre event. It’s a space for connection, comfort, and honouring a life in a personal way.
Because every family is different, each funeral reflects what matters most to the people who loved them, creating a celebration as unique as the person being remembered.
The bonds we share don’t fade with time. Even when our loved ones are no longer with us, love lives on in the memories, shared stories, and the quiet moments.

Since 1947, hundreds of thousands of Canadian families have come to us for professional and ethical guidance, pre-planning solutions and a growing range of options that reflect our changing attitudes toward funerals. We continue to offer innovative new ways to remember, honour and celebrate the lives of your loved ones.
You can expect more from us than products and services.
The choices available to you are truly unprecedented, and we look forward to helping you create a tribute that befits the life being honoured. But before a casket or urn is chosen, before a specific service is agreed to, we take pride in offering you much more. Respect, compassion and empathy. These are the qualities that generations, often from the same family, continue to count on. We passionately believe you will, too.
Your community is also ours.
While we can be found in eight provinces, our true focus is on the communities in which we’re based. Each Arbor Memorial location reflects the unique culture and traditions of the residents who support it. We in turn support them through the Arbor Memorial Foundation, and many more community-outreach initiatives.
