On site Naturopathic Consultations.
The staff and faculty at Crescent School invited us to host on-site Naturopathic Appointments during their work day, and it was a great experience for everyone involved.
We are exploring new ways to make healthcare more accessible. Reach out if you too would like to see a pop up clinic in your workspace.

Your Naturopathic Doctor or your Medical Doctor can investigate for different types of anemias.
Whether you are just looking at a general iron check; or doing a deeper investigation into other types of anemia, your naturopathic doctor can be a primary point of care throughout the process.

It's looking like a hot and sunny summer in Toronto! Here's how to protect your skin while you enjoy the weather.

- Check the UV index before you head out, and avoid staying in direct sunlight for more than 20 minutes

- Cover up with clothes, hats, and sunglasses to protect your body, face, and eyes from UV radiation

- Use natural sunscreens without harmful chemicals - the Environmental Working Group has a good list here: ewg.org/sunscreen

- If you use oils on your skin, use them after sun exposure, not before

- You can take pycnogenol (an antioxidant supplement) to reduce your skin's free radical damage from sun exposure

The weather is turning nicer, so why not take a walk outside? Living in the city has lots of benefits, but it's also important to let ourselves recharge and reconnect with nature. Whether you have time for a weekend trip or only a stroll in the park on your way home, Toronto has some beautiful natural areas, like High Park's Grenadier Pond.

It's nearly summer, and here in Toronto that means cherry season! Both sweet and sour cherries are rich in Vitamin C, potassium, and antioxidants - in fact, cherries' deep red colour comes from antioxidants called anthocyanins that help to reduce inflammation. Visit one of Toronto's farmers' markets, or head to a farm and pick your own!
