Passport funding question: What is the limit on live event tickets?
Live event tickets are part of your community participation and supports funding. There is a limit on each event ticket that you purchase, but there is no annual purchase limit on live events. The Passport program will reimburse up to $150 per ticket per person to a maximum of 2 tickets per event. The second ticket is only allowed for a registered support worker, not an unpaid primary caregiver.
For example, if you submit a claim for the purchase of 2 tickets to a NHL game at a cost of $200 per ticket, for a total of $400, where 1 ticket is for the Passport recipient and 1 ticket is for their support worker, the Passport program will reimburse you a total of $300. If, however, one of the tickets was for a family member or unpaid primary caregiver, the Passport program will reimburse you $150.
