What a heartwarming day! Yesterday, we celebrated our amazing seniors aged 95 and over, including eight centenarians.

The day was filled with laughter, music, a beautiful violin performance, and, of course, delicious cake. 🎻🎂

Our President and CEO, Wendy Beckles, led the celebrations and presented certificates on behalf of the Governor General and the federal and provincial governments, joined by MP Jean Yip and MPP Aris Babikian, who were in attendance.

It was truly a day to celebrate community, longevity, and the inspiring lives of our seniors.

We marked National Seniors Day with an afternoon of music and uplifting words on faith and flourishing. Eduard Klassen and Christine Klassen filled the room with beautiful harmonies on the harp, and our President and CEO, Wendy Beckles, welcomed seniors and guests with warmth. The afternoon was further enriched by an inspiring message from Pastor Sandra Gill.

What a Saturday! Thank you to everyone who joined our 2025 Walkathon and made it special.
Congratulations to North Toronto Christian School for winning the top fundraising prize, and thank you to MP Jean Yip for visiting, our sponsors, and all who donated and supported our seniors.

We were delighted to host MP Jean Yip, Minister for Seniors and Accessibility, MPP Raymond Cho, MPP Aris Babikian, Raghav Monga representing MPP Andrea Hazell at Shepherd Village Inc. on a tour led by our President & CEO Wendy Beckles. This was a great opportunity to meet with our residents and staff during our recent LTC Community Engagement Day. It was also a chance to get a firsthand feel of the innovations around our home, and to discuss the challenges we face and where support is needed. We are proud to showcase the dedication, compassion, and creativity that make our community such a special place to live and work.
