UNIVERSAL SEMIAUTOMATIC SCREEN INSERTION SYSTEM


This self-contained universal semiautomatic system is intended for screen insertion and securing into the pre-assembled frame by the means of groove and spline. It offers economical solution to various issues common to the screen shops.

This system provides quick reliable operation with improved quality and consistency.
It doesn’t require the operator to learn any new skills or exert physical effort pushing down and rolling.
It requires no programming or changeovers between screen-sizes and no frame clamping, and allows easy access all around, thus streamlining the screen shop operations.

This system offers automatic tool down-pressing, automatic spline feeding, and automatic horizontal rolling. There is no manual effort required for the system’s functionality, thus eliminating the potential for the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or other health hazards.

The operator’s manual functions consist of pulling the mesh off the roll and laying it over the frame, guiding the automatic insertion tool along the required directional path with the wheel in the groove, and controlling the mesh tension.

The system consists of:

• Flat table of customizable dimensions, depending on the maximum size of the screens produced, to allow easy access all around.
• Non-marring, frame immobilising non-slip top surface, eliminating the need for clamping or securing frames in place by other means during the rolling process.
• Easy-load spline spool arbour and spline guides.
• Easy-load mesh roll arbour and mesh guiding rolls, as well as guided manual off-cutter.
• End-of-arm insertion tooling, mounted on 3-section flexible horizontal arm, equipped with conveniently located integral manual electric controls for functional operation.
• Automatic rolling tool, equipped with freely rotating around the vertical axis and adjustable force pneumatic push-down mechanism for the insertion direction orientation.
• Adjustable speed electric power-driven insertion wheel for automatically pulling the spline and pressing it into the groove along each side of the frame.

This system in professionally engineered and built for long continuous trouble-free production life, with no regular service or maintenance required.

AGM Automation Door Chacker Assembly Line consists of one compact frame with four stations serviced by unskilled labor. Station #1 checks the arm and bumper and greases bumper inside with two injectors. If the parts are rejected during testing, the process is aborted. Station #2 installs the clevis and rivets the pin. The torque is checked for being within programmable limits. Rejected checkers are automatically stored in the rejection bin. Station #3 assembles the plungers, springs and side plates. The springs are tetsed for presence and length. If the checker is rejected during test, the process is aborted. Station #4 tests the functionality of the assembled checker and engraves accepted parts with a programmable label. Rejected checkers are automatically stored in the rejection bin.
