On February 24, 2026 another fundraising event was hosted by Toronto Integrated Eye Care. All proceeds from the day's examinations and eyewear were donated in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Nearly $8,000 was raised, and donations are still coming in daily. Thank you!!

Khrystyna lives in Ukraine. She has been playing the violin since she was 5 years old. Ukraine has been at war since she was born. Her dream is to become a concert violinist. Her mother agonizes over the fact that due to their financial situation, and being under constant attack by ruSSia, she cannot afford the violin that Khrystyna needs to excel as the violinist that she wants to be.
Our family and friends have collected $1500 CAD for her dream violin. We need just a bit more to make that purchase.
I have spoken to her mother, and she is aware of our fundraiser. She is eternally grateful.
If you are able, can you help this young girl, who has remained in Ukraine, to play on the violin that will make her life.....just a little better.

More computer work and less activity among students leads to an increase in myopia. This means that students see worse in the distance, and will likely require stronger vision correction until the age of 20 (approx.) Myopia control at an early age will manage this progression and reduce their chances of getting eye diseases in adult life.
