🚨💥Anti-inflammatory Meal💥🚨

Lamb with Japanese purple potatoe and a garden salad 😉🤗

✅️Japanese purple potatoe 💜 - I am going through a purple potatoe phase, love them. I just baked them in a 450° oven for 45 minutes - they are delicious and very good for you
There are various studies on the health benefits of them and how Japan is a country known for its longevity and purple sweet potatoes was on the list

✅Garden salad: leaf lettuce (purple & green) tossed w freshly squeezed lemon juice and a drizzle of EVOO and apple cider vinegar

✅Lamb : I added sea salt, black pepper, turmeric and just a small drizzle of EVOO. Did you know lamb is super high in zinc?
I baked it in the oven for 25 minutes @450°.

✅ NOT SHOWN: its important to have fermented food daily. Sauerkraut: Sauerkraut, or fermented cabbage, is loaded with vitamins C and K, iron and fiber, and naturally contains healthy gut bacteria called probiotics By eating foods like sauerkraut, we enhance the health of our digestive system by optimizing our gut and balancing our gut microbiome(not shown)

*Make sure to buy Sauerkraut in the fridge.

✳Choose organic vegetables, oils, herbs & spices when possible to reduce your toxic load.

A simple balanced meal with protein~ complex carbohydrates ~ healthy fats

There is a lot of information floating around about diet and supplements these days, but to be honest, I feel it's causing a lot of confusion.
I would love to support you and provide some simple steps, tips, and recommendations that you can do right now using simple nutrition.
A poor diet, stress, lack of sleep, and too little exercise all have an effect & can lower the body's ability to fight infection and viruses.
This is a photo of my grocery haul this week, a good example of what kinds of foods I have in my kitchen to help with reducing inflammation, strengthening gut health & supporting my immune system.

Here are 5 key strategies to help you support your immune system👇

Giving Tuesday is a really important time to raise funds for Vasculitis Foundation Canada and "OUR CAUSE", the vasculitis cause in Canada and beyond.

You know, more than anyone, how difficult it is to suddenly become seriously ill and go for months and sometimes years on treatment. For some, they struggle for months, or years just to get a vasculitis diagnosis. In the end, virtually all vasculitis patients find out there is no known cause or cure for their disease!

Every year, we advance our cause, but it’s a big task, and we need your help to do it!

This is why, at this time of year, we need to ask our friends and family to support us by giving a donation to help us improve vasculitis research, awareness, education, and patient outcomes so that all vasculitis patients stay healthy.

A simple breakfast plate with scrambled eggs,smashed half an avocado on gf bread, strawberries, blueberries, and banana.

Easy peasy and delish.

A simple balanced meal with protein~ complex carbohydrates ~ healthy fats

I love having eggs for breakfast and especially fresh fruit.
So many ask me if eggs are ok, my answer is simply YES! If you don't have any sensitivities to eggs, then go ahead and enjoy!

My theory is to always eat whole foods, exactly as nature intended

Both the egg white and yolk are rich in nutrients, including proteins, vitamins, and minerals. The yolk contains fat-soluble vitamins (such as vitamins D and E) and essential fatty acids; while most of the protein is found in the egg white.

Whole eggs are nutritionally rich, supplying almost every nutrient you need. They are useful sources of some of the hard to get nutrients, like vitamins D and B12, as well as the mineral iodine. Eggs are regarded as a ‘complete’ source of protein as they contain all nine essential amino acids, which we must obtain from our diet.
